Newtown Parks & Recreation has set up a spot on their website for online donations by credit card. Scroll down and click on FALL, register with a user name and password, and then choose Search, Activity, By Number. Donate To Skate will be at the top of the list!

According to IRS Publication 526 you can deduct as a charitable contribution money or property you give to Federal, state, and local governments if the contribution is solely for public purposes such as public parks and recreation facilities. If anyone needs further information, you can obtain publication 526 from the IRS site on the internet.

The fundraising campaign is supported by our Town Government, Newtown Parks and Recreation, as well as the Parks and Recreation Commission. If you give DonateToSkate a donation of $250.00 or more you can obtain an email receipt by contacting our campaign director. You will be e - mailed a receipt by Erin.
